Mom’s Perfect Pie Crust
Serves: 8
Yields: 2 crusts for 1 pie or 2 bottom pie crusts
  • 1 ½ cup flour
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 8 T Rich & Creamy Melt® Organic
  • 4-5 T ice water
  1. Measure individual T of Melt Organic and place on plate. Freeze for 1 hour before using.
  2. Sift flour and salt.
  3. Cut in Melt Organic 1 T at a time with a pastry cutter until resembles coarse corn meal.
  4. Add 1 T of ice water at a time mixing with a fork until it can form a ball.
  5. Divide ball in half.
  6. Roll out on floured board for top and bottom crusts.
