Maple-Chile Popcorn
  • 8 cups popcorn, popped, without added oil or salt
  • 4 tablespoons Honey Melt®, melted
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground red pepper (cayenne)
  • 3 tablespoons maple syrup
  1. Heat oven to 300.
  2. Coat a baking sheet with a lip or a 15x10 inch jelly-roll pan with cooking spray.
  3. Lightly coat a large metal or glass bowl with cooking spray.
  4. Add the popcorn to the bowl.
  5. Combine the Honey Melt®, salt, cayenne and maple syrup together in a small saucepan.
  6. Heat over medium heat until the mixture comes to a boil.
  7. Cook for one minute without stirring.
  8. Pour the liquid mixture over the popcorn, stirring to evenly coat the kernels.
  9. Spread the popcorn in an even layer on the baking sheet. Bake for 15 minutes.
  10. Remove and cool on the baking sheet. Store in an airtight container.
